£60 includes 1 hour pre test and 1 hour for test with FREE use of the car. Test fee is payable separately to DVA.

Terms and Conditions

Prices include pickup and drop at same address, if alternate arrangements are required they must be by prior arrangement. If the pick up/drop off point is out of the instructors normal area it may incur an extra charge. Lesson fee is payable at start of lesson unless by prior arrangement. Cheques will only be accepted as payment in advance.

We reserve the right to vary rates and terms at any time, however we will when ever possible attempt to keep current pupils at their initial rate for up to 3 months after price increase, or until their test.

At least 24 hours notice must be given for cancellation of lessons, cancellations less than 24 hours may incur charges as follows

1st cancellation half lesson price.
Subsequent cancellations at full lesson price

If we are unable to attend a lesson we will attempt to give as much notice as possible and rearrange the lesson time.

DKL Driving School will not be liable for cancellations due to circumstances out of our control including but not limited to:

Adverse Weather conditions, e.g. Snow, Storms.
Civil Disturbance
Test cancellation by DVTA
Electrical or Mechanical breakdown of tuition vehicle including flat tyre, blown light bulbs

Pupils must attend lessons in a fit and proper condition, drug and alcohol free, DKL instructors reserve the right to refuse use of the tuition vehicle for lessons or test purposes if they suspect a pupil is not in a fit or legal condition to drive. Pupils must be able to read a number plate at 67 feet or 20.5 metres using corrective lenses if required. Lessons cancelled for such reasons will require payment in full.
